What technical equipment is on-site?Our conference is equipped with audio/video technology. If presenting with your laptop, please bring the necessary adapters. For special requirements, contact our team in advance.​

I’m a first-time speaker—should I still submit a talk?Absolutely! We strongly encourage first-time speakers to apply. droidcon values fresh perspectives, and we provide support throughout the process—from proposal feedback to speaker guidance, click here for public speaking tips and guidelines specific to our events that will help you in preparation for your talk. Confidence comes with practice—and this could be your first of many great talks!

What presentation formats are available?We accept:​ We have 3 talk formats: Session times are 45 minutes (including Q&A) Lightning Talks are 20 minutes (including Q&A). Workshops typically last 90 minutes (including Q&A).

What are the guidelines for talk submissions?Ensure your title and description match, define key takeaways, specify your experience level, mention if you’ve given the talk before, include relevant keywords, and consider if you can serve as a moderator.​

When will I know if my talk was selected?The program committee will notify selected speakers approximately two weeks after the Call for Papers concludes.​

What is Fluttercon?Fluttercon USA is co-located this year with droidcon New York, the largest Android developer event in the USA. Over two full days, Flutter and Dart experts, GDEs, and lots of Flutter developers will converge alongside Android developers at one of the largest gatherings of mobile developers. Each event will have multiple tracks with in-depth tech talks, workshops, panels, and more. Your ticket grants access to Fluttercon USA 2025 and droidcon New York 2025.

Does my ticket include droidcon NYC?Yes, your ticket grants access to both droidcon NYC and Fluttercon USA.​

Will sessions be recorded?Absolutely! All sessions will be recorded and later published on our website at droidcon.com.​

Will food and drinks be provided?Yes, we offer water, coffee, light snacks during breaks, and lunch each day. The general party will feature snacks and a variety of beverages, all free of charge. Please bring your own bottle to refill at our water stations to help reduce waste.​

How do I get a visa invitation letter?Yes, we can issue a visa invitation letter after you buy a ticket. Please fill out this Typeform with your personal information.

Is there a cloakroom?Yes, a free cloakroom is available for jackets and bags.​
